Swiss Eye, your Glaucoma and Ophthalmology Center, is a specialized ophthalmology center for Swiss and foreign patients with eye disorders, particularly glaucoma and cataracts.

Our mission is to improve the vision and quality of life of our patients by putting together three fundamental pillars of medicine: specialised care, research and teaching.

Our independent practice is committed to innovation and excellence in ophthalmic surgery and the management of glaucoma and cataracts. Our main objective is to develop and perfect the treatments we offer, as well as surgical and laser techniques.

Our aim is to contribute to the progress of ophthalmology and the improvement of clinical care, in particular by improving and adapting our patients' care thanks to the results put forward by our Research Unit.

About us

Currently available glaucoma treatments have a significant impact on patients’ quality of life which represents an important issue in the management of glaucoma.

We are developing less invasive surgical and laser techniques in an effort to address and minimize this problem.

Glaucoma is a progressive disease that can lead to blindness. It affects more than 2% of the population over the age of 40.

At Swiss Eye, our clinical team and research unit are working hard in order to minimize these effects by implementing advanced treatments.

Swiss Eye Departments

  • In addition to general ophthalmology, the practice provides specialised ophthalmic care for patients with glaucoma, cataracts and ocular surface diseases (dry eye).

  • The research unit contributes to the development and refinement of minimally invasive glaucoma surgery techniques and diagnostic methods aiming to improve patient’s care.

  • Swiss Eye Academy trains surgeons in Swiss Eye techniques through accredited fellowship training programmes, courses, symposia, conferences and webinars.
