International patients

The specificity and proven effectiveness of the treatments offered by our centre also attracts an international patient base, which is why Swiss Eye was founded with the needs of our foreign patients in mind. The waiting list is short and patients are normally seen within one month (we keep special availability for emergencies to shorten the waiting time)

Our team of medical coordinators assist our international patients with their travel arrangements to make their stay in Switzerland as smooth as possible, especially if an operation is planned in a clinic. The patient's admission and operation are planned to minimise travel and we help our patients with administrative and logistical matters.

• In case of emergency, we can arrange an appointment within a week
• Swiss Eye can make hotel reservations with our partner hotels at preferential rates and provide all the necessary information to make your stay in Lausanne as easy and pleasant as possible.
• We adapt to the needs of our patients and in particular in the case of an operation we centralise the procedures and act as a link between our centre, the clinics and any other actor necessary for the organisation of the operation or the stay.
• Swiss Eye's small, close-knit team comes from all over the world, bringing international experience from many backgrounds and we speak French, English, Spanish, Italian and Greek.
